Born in Montevideo, raised in Basel, Miami, Vienna, and Zug - a city in the heart of Switzerland.

the various changes in location, as well as her Swedish father and Swiss mother, have influenced
her interest in storytelling, culture, and people. laura’s nordic roots heavily influence her visual language,
which highlights authenticity, natural beauty, and simplicity.

”my focus lies in visual storytelling, mainly through portrait and documentary photography, which aims to reflect depth, intimacy, and sensitivity. i believe the magic in photography, especially portraiture, takes place in human connection. i approach work with patience, understanding and respect - three pillars that carry great significance in my work ethics.
my responsibility as a photographer is to ensure people are not felt or seen as ‘just’ subjects, but as what they truly are; humans. to each their own story - their past, present, and future.”

after successfully completing her degree in photography with first class honours, laura has taken a leap of faith towards becoming a professional photographer and fulfilling the life-long dream of becoming an artist.

laura is currently based in ZUG (Switzerland) and london (united kingdom), working full-time as a photographer and establishing a name for herself in the creative industry.
